What are our team’s top seven favorite restaurants in Danville? Let’s start South and move North through town on a train of culinary goodness:
1. Esin: Esin actually means “inspiration,” and is owned by the chef and his wife. This restaurant was started in 1998, and they serve superb Mediterranean food.
2. Piatti: This is a phenomenal Italian pizzeria located in the livery. It’s perfect for lunches with clients or friends and for celebrating anniversaries or birthdays with the family.
3. Forbes Mill: This establishment is a high-end steakhouse that basically shares a wall with Piatti. Our team offers $25 gift cards for this restaurant and I used one to try their $27 ribeye and it was the best $2 steak I’ve ever had. They also have a wonderful bar area if you want to sit down with a buddy and unwind at the end of the day.
4. Bridges: This is an iconic place for us Danville residents. They actually filmed a scene from the movie “Mrs. Doubtfire” here. Their food features European and Asian influences that will really blow your mind.

If you’re wondering where to make reservations, any of these restaurants will blow your mind.
5. Incontro Ristorante: This is another Italian restaurant which I absolutely love. If you’re just looking for a quick bite, sit down in the bar area and grab a glass of wine. The food will blow your mind. On Friday and Saturday nights, they also sometimes feature live entertainment outside next to the fire pits.
6. Revel: This is one of the newer restaurants in Danville located right in the heart of Main Street. When you walk into Revel, you just feel good about yourself. The ambiance is wonderful and the food and staff are both fantastic. This joint is actually owned by Esin, so if you like Esin, you’ll love it here.
7. The Peasant & The Pear: I’ve been here more times than I can count. The first time I sat down for a meal here, I can’t tell you how wonderfully warm and inviting the staff were. The food was also amazing. The head chef is Rodney Worth, and he owns five additional restaurants throughout the Danville area. If you haven’t been to any of them, I highly recommend that you go.
If you have any questions about restaurants, real estate, or anything else in the Tri-Valley area, don’t hesitate to give me a call. I’d love to talk.
