I’m here with part one of “13 Underappreciated Traits You Need to Succeed.” I’ll go over the first half of these traits today.

1. Mindfulness. It’s easy to get caught up in the grind of the day, but it’s very important that you remain mindful of your environment, your body, your business, and other things that are essential to your success.

2. Speaking skills. You need to be articulate when speaking so people always understand what you are trying to convey.

3. Insatiability. If you have an insatiable hunger to become better at what you’re already good at, it will lead to new ways of thinking, new business partners, and much more.

4. Decisiveness. Putting a decision on the backburner to figure out at a later time won’t get you anywhere. Don’t go with the flow, make a decision and move forward!

5. Consistency. If you’re going to be successful in any aspect of your life, you need to have a schedule.

6. Coachability. Don’t make the mistake of believing you know everything. The greatest of the greats from business to sports all had multiple coaches helping them grow throughout their lives, and you should too.

7. Honesty. Be honest with everyone. If you can be honest with yourself, your spouse, or your business partners about a situation, they will find you more trustworthy.
